Lower Oil Pan Removal

Tools Required 

J 37228  Seal Cutter. See Special Tools .

  1. Disconnect the oil level sensor.

  3. Remove the lower oil pan bolts.
  4. IMPORTANT: Do not damage the sealing surfaces when separating the lower oil pan from the upper oil pan.
  5. Separate the lower oil pan from the upper oil pan using J 37228  . See Special Tools .
  6. Remove the lower oil pan.
