J-46594  Fuel Injector Remover

  1. Remove the left fuel injector bracket bolts.

  3. Remove the right fuel injector bracket bolts.

    NOTE: The unique fuel injector flow rates are programmed into the ECM according to cylinder location. Mark the fuel injectors for correct re-installation to the same cylinders. Failure to do so may result in a poor drive-ability condition.
  5. Install the J-46594  into the fuel injector brackets.
  6. Pull back on J-46594  in one steady motion, until the fuel injector breaks free from its seat.
  7. Remove the J-46594  .
  8. Remove the left fuel injectors with brackets.

  10. Remove the right fuel injectors with brackets.

  12. Remove the left injector bracket pins.

  14. Remove the right injector bracket pins.
  15. Remove the copper washer from the injector bore and discard.
  16. Remove the O-ring from the injector and discard.
