Fuel Injection Pump Removal

  1. Remove the camshaft gear access hole cover bolt.
  2. Remove the camshaft gear access hole cover.

  4. Rotate the crankshaft until the camshaft gear tension relief hole is in line with the front cover access hole.

  6. Use a suitable tool to unload the spring tension from the two piece cam gear. Apply pressure towards the right side of the engine while removing the injection pump.

  8. Remove the four fuel injection pump bolts.
  9. Remove the fuel injection pump.
