Engine Wiring Harness Assembly Removal

  1. Remove the left glow plug harness bracket bolts.

  3. Remove the right glow plug harness bracket bolts.

  5. Disconnect the positive crankcase ventilation (PCV) hose clamp.

  7. Remove the right PCV pipe bolt.

  9. Remove the left PCV pipe bolt.

  11. Remove the PCV pipe.

  13. Disconnect the exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) valve electrical connector.

  15. Remove the ground bolt.

  17. Disconnect the crankshaft position sensor electrical connector.

  19. Disconnect the fuel pressure control valve electrical connector.

  21. Disconnect the oil level sensor electrical harness connector.

  23. Disconnect the fuel temperature sensor connector.

  25. Disconnect the glow plug controller electrical connector.

  27. Disconnect and remove the turbocharger vane position sensor.

    CAUTION: Label all the injector electrical connectors before the connectors are removed in order to prevent reconnecting to the wrong injector. Failure to properly connect the injectors in the correct sequence will cause severe engine damage.
  29. Disconnect the fuel injector electrical connections.

  31. Disconnect the turbocharger vane control solenoid valve.

  33. Disconnect the fuel rail pressure sensor.

  35. Disconnect the oil pressure sensor electrical connector.

  37. Remove the oil level sensor harness bolt.

  40. Remove the glow plug controller.
  41. Remove the glow plug controller shield bolts.
  42. Remove the glow plug controller shield.
