Draining Fluids and Oil Filter Removal

  1. Drain the fuel from the fuel filter.
    1. Attach drain tube to fuel filter drain tap.
    2. Place open end of drain tube into a suitable container.
    3. Open fuel filter drain, and allow fuel to drain.
    4. Close fuel filter drain.
    5. Remove drain tube.
    6. Properly dispose of used fuel.

  3. Remove the oil drain plug and gasket, and allow engine oil to drain.
  4. Discard the oil drain plug gasket.

  6. Remove the oil filter.

  8. Remove the engine block coolant plugs, and allow coolant to drain.
