Removal Procedure

    NOTE: Clean the area around the sensor. Do not allow debris to enter the engine.
  1. Remove the left wheelhouse inner panel. Refer to Front Wheelhouse Liner Replacement - Left Side (Chevrolet) or Front Wheelhouse Liner Replacement - Left Side (GMC) .
  2. Disconnect the oil pressure sensor electrical connector.

  4. Using DT-48827  , remove the oil pressure sensor (1). See Special Tools .
