Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the intake manifold. Refer to Intake Manifold Replacement (Without AFM)  or Intake Manifold Replacement (With AFM) .
  2. Reposition the brake booster vacuum hose clamp at the intake manifold.
  3. Remove the brake booster vacuum hose from the intake manifold nipple.

  4. Remove the upper intake manifold cover nut.
  5. Remove the upper intake manifold cover.
