Circuit/System Verification

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2010 GMC Sierra, 2010 GMC Cab & Chassis Sierra, 2010 Chevrolet Silverado, and 2010 Chevrolet Cab & Chassis Silverado. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
NOTE: You must perform the Circuit/System Verification before proceeding with Circuit/System Testing.
  1. If any other DTCs are set, refer to Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) List - Vehicle .
  2. Observe the Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor parameter with a scan tool. During engine cranking, the pressure should be at least 10 MPa. With the engine running at idle, the pressure should be close to the Desired Fuel Rail Pressure. As the engine speed increases, the Desired Fuel Rail Pressure and the Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor should closely match each other.
  3. Operate the vehicle within the Conditions for Running the DTC. You may also operate the vehicle within the conditions that you observed from the Freeze Frame/Failure Records data.
