Circuit/System Verification

- Ignition OFF, open the hood to disable the Auto-Stop function. Refer to Hybrid Modes of Operation Description .
- Ignition ON, verify the scan tool hood position parameter displays Open.
- If the hood position does not display Open, refer to Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) List - Vehicle for DTC P254F.
- Verify the following DTCs are not set: P0106, P0107, P0108, P0641, P0651, P2227, P2228, or P2229.
- If any of the DTCs are set, refer to Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) List - Vehicle .
- Ignition ON, Engine OFF, determine the altitude for your area. Refer to Altitude Versus Barometric Pressure . Observe the MAP Sensor and BARO parameters. The readings should be within 5 kPa of each other and the Altitude Versus Barometric Pressure table.
- Operate the vehicle within the Conditions for Running the DTC. You may also operate the vehicle within the conditions that you observed from the Freeze Frame/Failure Records data.
