Installation Procedure

  1. Install the engine mount side bracket to the engine.
  2. Perform the following procedure prior to installing the engine mount bracket bolts.
    1. Remove all traces of the original adhesive patch.
    2. Clean the threads of the bolt with denatured alcohol or equivalent and allow to dry.
    3. Apply threadlocker GM P/N 12345382 (Canadian P/N 10953489) or equivalent to the bolts.
  3. CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .
  4. Install the engine mount side bracket bolts and tighten to 50 N.m (37 lb ft).

  6. Install the engine mount (2).
  7. Install the engine mount bolts (1) and tighten to 50 N.m (37 lb ft).
  8. Lower the engine.

  10. Install the oil pan skid plate and bolts and tighten to 20 N.m (15 lb ft).
  11. Lower the vehicle.

  13. Install the engine mount to engine mount bracket bolts (1) and tighten to 65 N.m (48 lb ft).
