| 1 | Boot Clamp (Qty: 2) Procedure: Use a flat-bladed screw driver or a pair of side cutters, remove and discard the boot clamps and replace with NEW only. DO NOT reuse the old clamps. Special Tools: J 43218 Clamp Pliers. See Special Tools . |
| 2 | Propeller Shaft Boot Procedure: Ensure that the NEW propeller shaft boot is properly seated on the propeller shaft. Use all of the NEW parts in the repair kit. |
| 3 | Alignment Mark Tip: These splines are larger than the rest of the splines on the propeller shaft and must be aligned properly to ensure the correct alignment of the propeller shaft. If they are damaged, replace the slip yoke for the rear propeller shaft and the front propeller shaft. |
