Installation Procedure

  1. Install the transmission range selector cable bracket.
  2. CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .
  3. Install the transmission range selector cable bracket bolts (1) and tighten to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).

  5. Align and install the cable to the bracket.
  6. Install the retainer that secures the cable to the bracket.
  7. Lower the vehicle.
  8. Check the vehicle for proper operation. If cable adjustment is necessary, refer to Range Selector Lever Cable Adjustment .
