DTC C0561 71, 72, 74, and 75

This diagnostic detects invalid serial data from another module which causes the EBCM to deactivate ABS, traction control and the vehicle stability enhancement system.

  1. Use the scan tool Enhanced Diagnostics Data screen to determine which module is transmitting the invalid signal.
  2. The module that is transmitting the invalid data should not have any DTCs set.
  3. If the module has no DTCs set, refer to DTC U0100-U02FF (with HP2) or DTC U0100-U02FF (without HP2) .
