Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the intake manifold cover. Refer to Intake Manifold Cover Replacement .
  2. NOTE: Note the routing of the turbocharger vane position sensor pigtail prior to removal.
  3. Disconnect the engine wiring harness electrical connector (1) from the turbocharger vane position sensor electrical connector (2).

  5. Remove the turbocharger vane position sensor electrical connector clips from the wiring harness bracket.
  6. Remove the thermal reflective shield/tape from the vane position sensor, if required.
  7. Remove the turbocharger vane position sensor from the turbocharger.
