Installation Procedure

CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .

Install the starter cable terminal (2) and nut (1), to the starter.Tighten the nut to 9 N.m (80 lb in)

Install the starter solenoid cable retaining clip (2) and nut (1), to the right frame rail.Tighten the bolt to 25 N.m (18 lb ft)

Install the starter solenoid cable clamp to the battery post and tighten the nut to 9 N.m (80 lb in)
Install the battery positive terminals (2) and (4) to the mega-fuse holder.Tighten the nuts (1) and (3) to 9 N.m (80 lb in)
Install the right side wheelhouse liner. Refer to Front Wheelhouse Liner Replacement - Right Side (Chevrolet) or Front Wheelhouse Liner Replacement - Right Side (GMC)
Connect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (Single Battery) or Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (Dual Batteries) or Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (Auxiliary Battery) .
