Disconnect Procedure

  1. Turn off all the lamps and accessories.
  2. Turn the ignition OFF.
  3. Open the hood.
  4. Loosen the primary battery negative cable clamp nut (1).
  5. Remove and reposition the primary battery negative cable, away from the battery.

  7. Loosen the auxiliary battery negative clamp nut (1).
  8. Remove the auxiliary battery negative cable (2) from the auxiliary battery negative post.
  9. Reposition the auxiliary negative battery cable away from the battery.
