Temperature Valve Actuator Replacement - Left Side

Callout Component Name
CAUTION: In order to avoid actuator damage, DO NOT apply power to the actuator when it is not installed in the HVAC module.

Preliminary Procedures

  1. Remove the instrument panel insulator. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Replacement (With RPO SLT) or Instrument Panel Insulator Replacement (Without RPO SLT) .
  2. Disconnect the electrical connector from the air temperature actuator.
1 Air Temperature Actuator Screw (Qty: 2)
CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .

Tighten:  1.6 N.m (14 lb in)

2 Air Temperature Actuator
Procedure: 
Re-calibrate the air temperature actuator. Refer to Actuator Recalibration .
