Air Conditioning Accumulator Replacement (Non-HP2)

Callout Component Name
Preliminary Procedure: 
Recover the refrigerant. Refer to Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging (Non-HP2)  or Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging (HP2) .
1 Suction Hose Nut
CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .

Tip:  Large A/C compressor hose to A/C evaporator.

Tighten:  16 N.m (12 lb ft)

2 A/C Suction Hose
3 Sealing Washer
Tip:  Remove and discard sealing washer. Refer to Air Conditioning System Seal Replacement .
4 Accumulator Mounting Bracket Nut

Tighten:  16 N.m (12 lb ft)

5 Accumulator Nut

Tighten:  16 N.m (12 lb ft)

6 Sealing Washer
Tip:  Remove and discard sealing washer. Refer to Air Conditioning System Seal Replacement .
7 Accumulator
Tip:  Replacement service accumulators are shipped dry (no PAG oil). Add proper amount of oil to system before operating. Refer to Refrigerant System Specifications (Non-HP2) .
