Rear License Plate Lamp Replacement (Chevrolet GMC)

Preliminary Procedures Ensure the headlamp switch is in the OFF position. Reach under the bumper and press on the lens end of the cover in order to release the locking tab. Push outward to disengage the lens housing from the rear bumper. Remove the lens housing from the bumper assembly. Remove and replace the bulb as needed.
1	Rear License Plate Lamp Tip: Inspect the operation of the lamp prior to the re-installation of the lens cover assembly.
