Front Fog Lamp Replacement (GMC)

Preliminary Procedures Remove either the LF or RF wheelhouse liners. Refer to Front Wheelhouse Liner Replacement - Left Side (Chevrolet) or Front Wheelhouse Liner Replacement - Left Side (GMC) for the LF or Front Wheelhouse Liner Replacement - Right Side (Chevrolet) or Front Wheelhouse Liner Replacement - Right Side (GMC) for the RF wheelhouse liner. Disconnect the electrical connector. From inside the front air deflector, using a six point 10 mm socket or the open end of a 3/8" extension, compress the retainers and push outward on the two upper mounting studs on the fog lamp. Using the same tools, compress the lower retainer and push outward on the adjustment screw for the fog lamp. Remove the fog lamp assembly.
1	Fog Lamp Assembly WARNING: Refer to Halogen Bulb Warning . Tip: Transfer the bulb assembly as needed.
2	Fog Lamp Retainers (Qty: 3) Procedure Install the retainers back onto the fog lamp upper mounting studs. Install the retainer onto the fog lamp adjusting screw. Firmly push the lamp assembly back into the front air deflector until all three retainers are engaged to the air deflector. Aim the fog lamps after the fog lamp has been replaced. Refer to Fog Lamp Aiming .

Tip: Transfer the bulb assembly as needed.

Procedure

Install the retainers back onto the fog lamp upper mounting studs.
Install the retainer onto the fog lamp adjusting screw.
Firmly push the lamp assembly back into the front air deflector until all three retainers are engaged to the air deflector.
Aim the fog lamps after the fog lamp has been replaced. Refer to Fog Lamp Aiming .
