Preliminary Procedures Disable roof rail SIR system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling . Remove center pillar upper garnish molding assembly. Refer to Center Pillar Upper Garnish Molding Replacement .
1	Assist Handle Screw (Qty: 2) CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Tighten: 1.2 N.m (10 lb in)
2	Assist Handle Assembly Tip: Push up to disengage the intergral hooks.

Remove center pillar upper garnish molding assembly. Refer to Center Pillar Upper Garnish Molding Replacement .

Assist Handle Screw (Qty: 2)

CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .

Tighten: 1.2 N.m (10 lb in)

Assist Handle Assembly
Tip: Push up to disengage the intergral hooks.
