Front Bumper Fascia Trim Cap Replacement (GMC)

Callout Component Name

Preliminary Procedures

  1. Remove the front wheelhouse liner - right side. Refer to Front Wheelhouse Liner Replacement - Right Side (Chevrolet) or Front Wheelhouse Liner Replacement - Right Side (GMC) .
  2. Remove the front wheelhouse liner - left side. Refer to Front Wheelhouse Liner Replacement - Left Side (Chevrolet) or Front Wheelhouse Liner Replacement - Left Side (GMC) .
1 Front Bumper Fascia Trim Cap Bolt (Qty: 4)
CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .

Tighten:  10 N.m (89 lb in)
2 Front Bumper Fascia Trim Cap

Procedure

  1. Loosen the bracket to fender bolts to increase the clearance between the fender and bracket.
  2. Pull gently on the sides of the front bumper fascia trim cap outwards to disengage from the front fenders.
  3. Transfer parts as needed.
  4. Disconnect any electrical connectors.

Tighten:  7 N.m (62 lb in)
