Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the generator. Refer to GENERATOR .
  2. Remove the power steering pump. Refer to POWER STEERING PUMP REPLACEMENT (4.3L) or POWER STEERING PUMP REPLACEMENT (4.8L, 5.3L, AND 6.0L) .
  3. Remove the generator bracket bolts.
  4. Remove the generator bracket.
