Coolant Air Bleed Pipe Cleaning and Inspection

However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

Important: Do not use the engine coolant air bleed pipe and cover gaskets again. Upon installation of the pipe and covers, install NEW gaskets.

Remove the sealing gaskets from the pipe.
Remove the sealing gaskets from the covers.

Clean the pipe (2), hose (1), and covers in solvent.
WARNING: Wear safety glasses in order to avoid eye damage.
Dry the pipe and covers with compressed air.
Inspect the pipe and covers for damage or restrictions.
Inspect the gasket and hose sealing surfaces for damage.
Inspect the hose (1) for restrictions, cracking or wear.
The hose may be used again if it is not damaged.
