Installation Procedure

    NOTE: Do not reuse the cover gasket or the valve rocker arm cover bolt grommets.
  1. Install a NEW rocker arm cover gasket.
  2. Install NEW rocker arm cover bolt grommets, if necessary.
    3. Fig 2: View Of Rocker Arm Cover

    CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .
  3. Install the rocker arm cover.
  4. Install the rocker arm cover bolts.

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolts to 12 N.m (106 lb in).

  5. Install the air cleaner outlet resonator. Refer to Air Cleaner Outlet Resonator Replacement .
