Propeller Shaft Slip Yoke Boot Replacement

Callout Component Name
Preliminary Procedure: 
Remove the rear propeller shaft. Refer to Two-Piece Propeller Shaft Replacement .
1 Boot Clamp (Qty: 2)
Tip:  Use a flat-bladed screw driver or a pair of side cutters to remove the boot clamps.
Special Tools: 
J 43218  Clamp Pliers. See Special Tools .
2 Propeller Shaft Boot
3 Alignment Mark
Tip:  These splines are larger than the rest of the splines on the propeller shaft and must be aligned properly to ensure the correct alignment of the propeller shaft. If they are damaged, replace the slip yoke for the rear propeller shaft and the front propeller shaft.
