Circuit/System Testing

Turn OFF the ignition and disconnect the water in fuel sensor.
Turn ON the ignition and clear the DTC.
Start and run the engine.
- If this DTC resets, test the indictor control circuit for high resistance or a short to ground.
- If the DTC does not reset, refer to Water in Fuel Indicator Malfunction .
