Circuit/System Testing

  1. Disconnect the wiring harness connector from the B14A Automatic Transmission Output Shaft Speed Sensor.
  2. Connect the red lead of J 38522  to the OSS voltage circuit terminal B and the black lead to the OSS signal circuit terminal A.
    1. Adjust the J 38522  Signal to 8 volts, the Frequency to 120 and the Percent Duty Cycle to 50.
    2. Ignition ON, verify the Transmission OSS parameter display is 100-400 RPM.
