Circuit/System Verification

  1. Clear the DTC information. To clear this DTC from the HPCM, you must use the scan tool Special Functions feature, under the HPCM special functions list only after the repair is complete.
  2. Turn the ignition OFF for 3 minutes.
  3. Turn the ignition ON.
  4. Retest for DTC P0C76.
  5. Operate the vehicle within the conditions for running the DTC to verify the DTC does not reset. You may also operate the vehicle within the conditions that you observed from the freeze frame/failure records data.
