Preliminary Procedure Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle . Remove the front tire and wheel. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation . Remove the engine shield, if equipped. Refer to Engine Shield Replacement . Remove the stabilizer shaft insulators. Refer to Stabilizer Shaft Insulator Replacement (2500, 3500) or Stabilizer Shaft Insulator Replacement (1500) .
