Preliminary Procedure Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle . Remove the tire and wheel. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation .
1	Axle Shaft Bolt (Qty: 8) CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Tighten: 156 N.m (115 lb ft)
2	Rear Axle Shaft
3	Rear Axle Shaft Gasket Tip: When installing the NEW gasket, apply a small amount of clean grease to hold the gasket in place while aligning the mounting hole in the axle shaft and the hub.
