Front Fender Replacement - Right Side

Preliminary Procedures Remove the headlamp. Refer to Headlamp Replacement (Chevrolet) , Headlamp Replacement (GMC HD) or Headlamp Replacement (HD Diesel) . Remove the front fender rear upper brace. Refer to Front Fender Rear Upper Brace Replacement . Remove the air cleaner assembly. Refer to Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement . Remove the air cleaner box tray. Remove the coolant reservoir bottle from the right fender and set it aside. Do not open the cooling system. Refer to Radiator Surge Tank Replacement (Non-HP2) or Radiator Surge Tank Replacement (HP2) . Remove the battery tray. Refer to Battery Tray Replacement . Remove the right hood hinge. Refer to Hood Hinge Replacement . Remove the right hood link. Refer to Hood Link Replacement . Remove the right wheelhouse liner. Refer to Front Wheelhouse Liner Replacement - Right Side (Chevrolet) or Front Wheelhouse Liner Replacement - Right Side (GMC) .
1	Right Fender Mounting Bolts (Qty: 6) CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Procedure: Apply threadlock compound to the bolts. Tighten: 30 N.m (22 lb ft)
2	Right Fender Assembly Tip: Transfer any necessary additional parts as needed.

Remove the front fender rear upper brace. Refer to Front Fender Rear Upper Brace Replacement .
Remove the air cleaner assembly. Refer to Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement .
Remove the air cleaner box tray.
Remove the coolant reservoir bottle from the right fender and set it aside. Do not open the cooling system. Refer to Radiator Surge Tank Replacement (Non-HP2) or Radiator Surge Tank Replacement (HP2) .
Remove the battery tray. Refer to Battery Tray Replacement .
Remove the right hood hinge. Refer to Hood Hinge Replacement .
Remove the right hood link. Refer to Hood Link Replacement .
Remove the right wheelhouse liner. Refer to Front Wheelhouse Liner Replacement - Right Side (Chevrolet) or Front Wheelhouse Liner Replacement - Right Side (GMC) .

Right Fender Mounting Bolts (Qty: 6)

CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .

Procedure:
Apply threadlock compound to the bolts.

Tighten: 30 N.m (22 lb ft)

Right Fender Assembly
Tip: Transfer any necessary additional parts as needed.
