Installation Procedure

  1. Install the ground strap (2) to the vehicle and the stud on the plenum front panel.
    2. CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .
  2. Install the ground strap nut (1) to the stud on the plenum front pane and tighten to 9 N.m (80 lb in).

  3. Position the ground strap (1) to the cylinder head.
  4. Install the ground strap bolt (2) to the cylinder head and tighten to 16 N.m (12 lb ft).
