Preliminary Procedure: Remove the steering wheel position sensor. Refer to Steering Wheel Position Sensor Replacement .
1	Steering Shaft Lower Bearing Procedure: Release the plastic retaining tabs and slide the steering shaft lower bearing out of the steering column.
