Balancing Procedure with Service Compressor Replacement (Flushing Required)

- Flush the A/C system. Flushing will remove all the oil from the A/C system. Refer to Flushing (Non HP2) or Flushing (HP2) .
- Remove the A/C compressor from the vehicle. Refer to Air Conditioning Compressor Replacement (LLY/LMM) , Air Conditioning Compressor Replacement (LU3) , Air Conditioning Compressor Replacement (LY2, LY5, LH6, L76, L92 and LMG) or Air Conditioning Compressor Replacement (HP2) .
The A/C system must be replenished with 150 ml (5.0 oz.) of POE oil.
NOTE: The refrigerant oil in the A/C system must be balanced during compressor replacement.
The new service compressor is shipped with 74 ml (2.5 oz.) of refrigerant oil. Do not drain the oil from the compressor. - Before installing the compressor, deduct the amount of oil shipped with the compressor 74 ml (2.5 oz.) from the total amount of the system oil 150 ml (5.0 oz.).
- Add the calculated amount 76 ml (2.5 oz.) of oil to the compressor and install it in the vehicle.
