Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the water outlet tube. Refer to Water Outlet Tube Replacement (LU3) .
  2. Remove the water outlet.
    3. Fig 2: Thermostat

  3. Remove the thermostat.
  4. Clean the sealing surface of the water outlet.
  5. Clean the sealing surface of the intake manifold.
  6. Remove and discard the O-ring seal.
