Coolant Heater Cord Replacement (LMM)

Preliminary Procedure

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
  2. Remove the front 2 oil pan skid plate bolts. Loosen the 2 rear bolts and remove the skid plate, if equipped.
1 Disconnect the heater plug from the engine block.
2 Cut bands and/or tape holding heater cord harness to starter cable harness, being careful not to damage harness while removing tie straps.
3 Remove the heater cord harness.
