Extension Assemble: Procedure

IMPORTANT: Ensure that the extension housing installation surfaces are clean.

Using DT-47724 (2) and J 36614 (1), install the tapered bearing race (89). See Special Tools .

Apply gear oil and install the tapered roller bearing (89).

Using J 44765 , install a NEW rear output shaft oil seal (92). See Special Tools .

Using DT-47722 , install a NEW shift shaft seal (88) to the specified depth (a). See Special Tools .
Depth: Drive the shift shaft seal to a depth of 4.6-5.4 mm below the surface of the extension housing.
