Circuit/System Description

The clutch pedal position (CPP) sensor is an input to the engine control module (ECM). The CPP will be more than 4 volts when the clutch pedal is released and less then 1 volt when the clutch pedal is applied. The CPP is a potentiometer type sensor with the following circuits:
- A 5-volt reference circuit
- A low reference circuit
- A signal circuit
