Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the applicable camshafts. Refer to Camshaft Replacement - Left Side .
  2. Remove the rocker arms. Refer to Valve Rocker Arm Replacement - Left Side .
  3. Remove the lifters. Refer to Valve Lifter Replacement - Left Side .
  4. Clean and inspect the camshafts, rocker arms and lifters. Repair or replace as necessary. Refer to Camshaft Cleaning and Inspection , Valve Rocker Arms Cleaning and Inspection and Valve Lifters Cleaning and Inspection .
