Installation Procedure

  1. Install the ignition coil(s).
    2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .
  2. Install the ignition coil bolt(s).

    Tighten:  Tighten the ignition coil bolt(s) to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

  3. Install the ignition coil electrical connector(s).
  4. If necessary, install the intake manifold. Refer to Lower Intake Manifold Replacement (LP1, LY7) .
  5. Install the engine cover. Refer to Fuel Injector Sight Shield Replacement (LP1, LY7) or Fuel Injector Sight Shield Replacement (LLT) .
