Removal Procedure

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
  2. Disconnect the fuel tank pressure sensor electrical connector (1).

    IMPORTANT: There are alignment features on the canister, however, there are no locking tabs on the sensor/canister. The sensor is held into the canister by the tight fit of the multi-lip seal.
  4. Remove the fuel tank pressure sensor from the evaporative emission (EVAP) canister.
