Installation Procedure

  1. Install the purge valve solenoid to the bracket.
  2. Disconnect the purge line from the manifold side of the purge valve solenoid.

  3. Disconnect the purge valve solenoid electrical connector.

  4. Connect the purge line (3) to the purge valve solenoid.
  5. Install the fuel injector sight shield. Refer to Fuel Injector Sight Shield Replacement (LP1, LY7) or Fuel Injector Sight Shield Replacement (LLT) .
