Installation Procedure

  1. Install NEW water outlet housing seals.
  2. Install the water outlet.
    3. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .
  3. Install the water outlet bolts.

    Tighten:  Tighten the water outlet housing bolts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

  4. Install the radiator hose to the water outlet. Refer to Radiator Inlet Hose Replacement .
  5. For the LLT engine, install the throttle body. Refer to Throttle Body Assembly Replacement .
  6. Fill the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling (GE 47716)  or Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static Fill) .
