Radiator Surge Tank Outlet Hose/Pipe Replacement (LLT)

Callout	Component Name
Preliminary Procedure Partially drain the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling (GE 47716) or Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static Fill) . Remove the fuel pipe shield. Refer to Fuel Pipe Shield Replacement (LLT) .
1	Outlet Pipe Bolt (Attached to Head) NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice . Tighten: 23 N.m (17 lb ft)
2	Outlet Pipe Bolt (Attached to Thermostat Housing) Tighten: 10 N.m (89 lb in)
3	Radiator Surge Tank Outlet Pipe
4	O-ring Procedure: Apply a small amount of lubricant to the surge tank pipe O-ring to allow the O-ring to seal properly.
5	Spring Clamp
