Auxiliary Water Pump Replacement (LLT)

Preliminary Procedures Drain the coolant. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling (GE 47716) or Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static Fill) . Disengage auxiliary water pump inlet hose from auxiliary water pump. Refer to Auxiliary Water Pump Inlet Hose Replacement . Disengage auxiliary water pump outlet hose from auxiliary water pump. Refer to Auxiliary Water Pump Outlet Hose Replacement . Disconnect the auxiliary water pump electrical connector. Remove the lower fan shroud bolts. Push fan shroud rearward of vehicle. Press the auxiliary water pump push retainers and pull auxiliary water pump rearward of vehicle.

Disengage auxiliary water pump inlet hose from auxiliary water pump. Refer to Auxiliary Water Pump Inlet Hose Replacement .
Disengage auxiliary water pump outlet hose from auxiliary water pump. Refer to Auxiliary Water Pump Outlet Hose Replacement .
Disconnect the auxiliary water pump electrical connector.
Remove the lower fan shroud bolts.
Push fan shroud rearward of vehicle.
Press the auxiliary water pump push retainers and pull auxiliary water pump rearward of vehicle.
