Installation Procedure

  1. Assemble the power brake booster pump sleeves (1) to the insulators (2).
  2. Install the power brake booster pump insulators.
  3. Position the power brake booster pump to the bracket and secure the electrical harness connector (3).
    4. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .

  4. Install the power brake booster pump bolts (1) and nuts (2).

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolts and nuts to 7 N.m (62 lb in).

  5. Install the power brake booster pump to the engine.
  6. Install the power brake booster pump bracket bolt (1).

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolt to 22 N.m (16 lb ft).

  7. Install the power brake booster pump bracket nut (1).

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolt to 70 N.m (52 lb ft).

  8. Connect the power brake booster pump electrical connector.
  9. Connect the power brake booster pump hose from the auxiliary pump.
  10. Install the power brake booster pump hose quick connect (1).
