Removal Procedure

Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
Remove the rear differential assembly. Refer to Differential Replacement .

IMPORTANT: Apply a small amount of clean oil on the threads of the DT-48060-A . See Special Tools .

IMPORTANT: Check the bore of the bushing for any damage. If there is any damage found, cracks, etc., replace the differential assembly.

Using the DT-48060-A , remove the differential housing support bushing. See Special Tools .
