Removal Procedure

Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
Remove the rear differential assembly. Refer to Differential Replacement .

IMPORTANT: Apply a small amount of clean grease or oil the thread of the DT-48060-A . See Special Tools .

IMPORTANT: Check the bore of the support bushing for damage, cracks, etc,. If any damage is found, replace the rear differential.

Using the DT-48060-A remove the rear differential housing support bushing. See Special Tools .
