Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the generator and water pump drive belt. Refer to Water Pump and Generator Belt Replacement .
  2. Rotate the drive belt tensioner clockwise in order to release the drive belt tension.
  3. Remove the drive belt from the power steering pulley.
  4. Slowly release the drive belt tensioner.
  5. Remove the drive belt from the accessory drive pulleys.
